Recently Everest Poker has released studies according to which the poker gamblers demographics are changing. The study’s results showed that women gamble in heavier rates than before, that is not just a single instance. The results showed that women in the most of the countries that were polled were taking part in online gambling in higher numbers. In general, women make up 34 % of online gambling in the European Continent.

Besides female players, there are also a lot of younger gamblers at the online casinos. Germany saw a 24% raise in the amount of gamblers in the 18 - 24 age group. Earlier there were much older gamblers visiting German online casinos. The 35 - 44 age group accounted for the highest gamblers percentage there before.

3,000 people took part in the study representing 16 countries of Europe.
