The Withdrawal of Case against Boss Media

In August we published a news article concerning litigation brought upon Boss Media, Swedish online gambling software provider, by Poker Trillion. At the moment, Poker Trillion appears to have withdrawn its claims against Boss media. Actually, a short message was even posted on Trillion’s website, saying that they have pulled all their claims and that legal dispute has finished.

At first sight, someone might think Poker Trillion withdrew their case because of the lack of substantial arguments of their accusations. But, Poker Trillion has evidently been quite successful in their evidence to make Boss Media pay up. Therefore, Poker Trillion managed to secure a judgment in the First hall Civil Court, Malta that would efficaciously allow Malta to forfeit gaming servers of Boss Media and effectively destroy their promising poker network and internet casino licensees.

That ruling was made in August, and afterwards Boss Media quickly undertook a counterattack, saying that Poker Trillion just wanted to revenge Boss Media since Boss Media had expelled Poker Trillion from their poker network for rake back violations. Moreover, Boss Media guaranteed that in spite of the danger of a fund seizure, balances of all player accounts were guaranteed and safeguarded.

At the very least it is a very mysterious case. Poker Trillion had more than once tried to cause a panic by issuing a press release saying that Boss Media’s funds had already been seized, when it was not the case. Surely there was some hostility between the above-said companies. Boss Media and Poker Trillion have not issued any statement that can explain the reasons for the withdrawal.
