The strict policy of USA concerning internet gambling is known all over the world. USA has restricted the access to the online casino and poker sites and continues control the situation in spite of numerous objections. But this is not the only country which has changed its attitude to the problem of gambling. Some other countries declare about the legislation restrictions. Among the states which have recently announced about the anti-gambling laws and future plans to block online casinos can be mentioned Russia and Italy. The last of them has declared about its decision to block online poker, it causes contradictory reactions.

This is another try to solve the problem which is not actually new for this country. Italy starts the process of liberalizing the national gambling market, but at the same time it begins the other project which can cause the ban of the online poker play. Certainly the reaction of the EU can be called positive. It is looking for the ways to strengthen the free trade policy especially in the field of internet gambling, using for this purpose negotiations with the different countries including USA.

But the main problem is where the limits of legality. There are some foreign companies working at the Italian gambling market which faces with the numerous requirements which can be rather strict. Italian Government wishes to control totally the sphere of online gambling, but such issue contradicts to the basis of the free trade policy between Italy and other countries of the EU.
