The result of the long-running case has been recently known to the general public. The US Department of Justice accused the Bet-on-Sports internet casino, its founders and operators to put it more precisely. The company and its founders Gary Kaplan and David Carruthers have been accused in frauds, moreover the case against the last one hasn’t finished yet.

The founder of the scandalous online casinos Kaplan has already paid some significant fines and even has been put into prison. There has been brought in a verdict of not guilty of Kaplan and Carruthersbring, but later the investigation continues. The new result of the process indicated that the family of one of the founders, Gary Kaplan, has been guilty in criminal charges. He has to return more than a million of dollars to the government, because they are gained illegally.

Several persons has already pled guilty, there are the personal assistant and brother and sister of Gary Kaplan among them. According to the court decision they have to pay several million of dollars. For DoJ the main thing is the guilty plea, the process against Kaplan and Carruthers goes on, so they can be returned guilty for their illegal activity and operation of online casino. But it’s absolutely clear that this case isn’t connected with the UIGEA and USA restrictions for internet gambling activity.
