Party Gaming Reducing Their Staff
It is well known in the internet gambling industry that Party Gaming has faced some difficulties. Particularly their online poker site is having troubles in chase of the competitors due to the unfair competition from the side of the sites that continue to accept the players from the USA. In answer to more severe competition from other internet casinos and because of falling profits, Party Gaming has made another attempt to save the company. They have just announced that they are going to dismiss a large piece of staff from the Gibraltar location. Unfortunately Party Gaming’s Gibraltar operations have redundant positions and since the company streamlines and wants to stay afloat reduction of the staff is becoming required.
The announcement of the staff reduction in the upcoming months makes the Gibraltar location staffers brim with anxiety. The Party Gaming gambling group hasn’t specified any positions or released any information on the lay-offs but noted that the company will evaluate the job positions during the next 60 days. Then, the redundant or unnecessary positions will be laid off. As per the first estimates the amount of staff that can lose their jobs may be 320.
This information hasn’t been stated officially from Party Gaming, two well-known newspapers have confirmed this. The internet gambling industry is a severe business and though it is really true that other online casino gambling companies have an unfair edge as a result of their involvement in the American gambling market, Party Gaming can only look at its operations and center upon building brand reputation in the European gambling market.
